Project #4 Chicken Hutch & Pen

The "Chicken Pen" is (8ft x 20ft, 160 sq ft.) and is behind the main house. The chicken hutch is 4ft square and it is big enough for 6 chickens. REmoval of eggs are done by lifting hinged doors above laying boxes so you do not have to go into chicken pen to remove eggs. Perimetier fence is 1" octagonal chicken wire. secured to ground with garden staples. Purchase the chickens (Rhode Island reds) from a breeder in Shepard, Texas for $25 each. We will be gitting a total of 6 chickens when we are finished.
