George J. Rogers - President, E.P. Technologies, Inc.Mr. Rogers has more than 35 years supporting engineering projects with management, design and drafting responsibilities in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine and Food Processing industries. During these years, he has held positions that have included Design CAD Manager, Engineering Manager, Lead Piping Designer, Senior Piping Designer, Senior CAD Specialists, Senior Structural/Mechanical Designer and Senior Mechanical Design Specialist.
As a Manager, he has been responsible for supervision of designers and drafters which included design, checking, estimating, scheduling, budget, client contact and quality control of design/drafting projects. He also has trained design/drafting personnel on the use of CAD. He has managed CAD systems to include systems development, networking, backup procedures, training and drafting standards.
As a Designer, he has over 25 years experience as a senior piping designer and 20 years of structural design experience.
Work has included developing complex multi-discipline plant layouts, generating design and construction drawings, field as-builts,
construction piping isometrics, creation of 3D design models, generation of CAD piping specifications, construction drawings and
project construction supervision and support. He has been a CAD user since 1982 and has used Autotrol, PDS, Intergraph, Microstation,
Autocad, Pro Pipe, CAD Pipe, and CADWorx. He is a current user of AutoCAD, Bentley AutoPlant, and CadWorx.
